To develop a more efficient way of quickly editing and playing back 16K video content.
By using the latest video card and processing hardware, along with Unity, a real-time engine we were able to quickly edit and playback multiple 2K and 4K video sources and compose one large 16K canvas that played over 32 full HD monitors.

The NHK approached us to develop a more cost-effective way of powering a massive LCD monitor wall. The usual cost would be over $800,000 USD for something so large scale. We used our Unity know-how and technological skills to create a bespoke hardware solution at a fraction of the budget. Rendering this and editing such a large video would have taken a lot of time, so we created a custom editing suite inside Unity that played according to triggers from external devices.
